ABOUT OUR DOCTORS...

Nancy B. Eisele, M.D. was born in St. Louis, Missouri. She graduated with distinction from the University of Missouri receiving several honors and recognitions for her outstanding achievements in addition to double degrees in Biology and Chemistry. In less than six years, she graduated both the University of Missouri and its Medical School with her Doctor of Medicine Degree. She did a transitional internship at the University of Hawaii specializing in surgery. During a three year residency at the Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C., Dr. Eisele was appointed their Chief Resident of Ophthalmology. Dr. Eisele received her board certification from the American Board of Ophthalmology in 1989. She has served on the Board of Directors at the Surgi-Center of Winchester as was a Chairman of the Department of ophthalmology at Winchester Medical Center. Dr. Eisele is a member of the Medical Society of Virginia, the American Academy of ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. She continues to receive advanced training in the highly technical field of ophthalmology and ophthalmic surgery.

Lori S. Snyder, M.D. joined Eye Associates of Winchester in September 2003. Dr. Lori Snyder grew up in Maryland and attended high school at the National Cathedral School for Girls in Washington, D.C. Dr. Snyder attended college at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. After earning her medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Dr. Snyder completed her internship in internal medicine at the Crozer-Chester medical Center in Upland, Pennsylvania. Following a three year ophthalmology residency at the Krieger Eye Institute at the Sinai Hospital of Baltimore where she served as Chief Resident, Dr. Snyder completed a fellowship in cornea, external disease, and refractive surgery at the Wilmer Eye Institute at the Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions in Baltimore, MD. Dr. Snyder received her Board Certification from the American Board of Ophthalmology in 2001.

While in medical school, Dr. Snyder was elected to serve as President, Governing Council Representative, and Delegate of the Medical Student Section of the American Medical Association. Throughout her ophthalmology residency, Dr. Snyder was an Executive Board Member of the Maryland Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons. During her residency, Dr. Snyder volunteered for the Maryland Society for the Sight and the Healthcare of the Homeless Vision Van. Dr. Snyder is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, and the American Medical Association.

Elizabeth J. McLaughlin, O.D. joined Eye Associates in 2015. Liz grew up in Mercersburg, PA. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Westminster College with a major in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. She went on to attend the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University in Philadelphia, PA. While in optometry school, she served as legislative chair in the American Optometric Student Association. During her rotations, she spent time at the James H. Quillen VA Medical Center in Johnson City, TN and at the Naval Submarine Base in New London, CT. She graduated with High Honors in 2014. Dr. McLaughlin belongs to the American Optometric Association and the Virginia Optometric Association. When she is not in the office, you can find her on the volleyball court or spending time with her husband Chris and their three cats.

Bob D. Lein, O.D. joined Eye Associates in 2017, bringing 30 years of optometric experience with him. Dr. Lein graduated from Southern College of Optometry in 1989. Dr. Lein sees patients at our Costco and Woodstock locations.
